Our Journey

Hi, My name is Colleen Weatherbee and my son Charles. I would like to share our journey with you that made such an impact in both of our lives that will truly inspire you, your family and all around you.

Since the day he was born I knew in my heart that he was special and had so much to give to himself and to others. The only thing was that as he got older into his teen years, he lost his self worth and his reason for living. I just couldn't reach him anymore. Nothing I said would make any difference.

Skipping school, hanging around the wrong crowd, failing grades – it just didn't matter what path he was taking and no matter how hard I tried to tell him he was better than that, he just wouldn't give himself that chance.

Then, after months and even years of knowing that this path was a destructive one, I prayed for the right intervention in our lives. For you see it wasn't all about Charles and his choices, it was also about learning who I was and what I needed to be doing as a role model as well.

I found a boarding school that had programs available for his academics which now has his grade point average at a level to entitle him to scholarships for college, but most of all they have the support and staff to build his self esteem and confidence to know that he is worth it and now can go forward with a secure and sold foundation to achieve his own success. Charles can now stand in his own choices with accountability and his family value structure in making decisions that will be in his best interests.

Not only do I feel that I saved his life, but this program has also saved mine. You see I realize too that I had so much more to offer my community and all around me.

This program gave us the tools to empower each other and to stand in our excellence and greatness and to live our values without wavering. We now have a clear understanding of what our boundaries are.

Charles is a Trustworthy, Committed, Capable and Lovable Young man with ambition and self confidence and is claiming a bright future filled with so many more possibilities that wasn't existent in his life before. He has achievable goals and is seeking to further his education in college. And for the first time Charles truly knows that he is worthy.

And I, Colleen am a Worthy, Forgiving, Peaceful and Loving Mom, have also started a new journey to stand in excellence and to reach out to others in need, so that you too can have the confidence and gain the wisdom that can make a difference in your families as well.
